What I Wore Sunday
As I mentioned in my previous post, I came down with something nasty and ended up getting an antibiotic from my doctor on Friday. I'm still not feeling 100%, but I feel SO much better than I did last week. I was debating whether or not I should go to Mass today (obviously I did, once I realized I was no longer contagious and I no longer had any difficulty swallowing or breathing), but I'm so glad I ended up accompanying the fam this morning. Alessandra, for the third week in a row, gets an A+ for awesome baby church behavior. She's fascinated by the stained glass, the flowers, the beautiful music, and all that keeps her happily occupied for the hour, hour and a half that we're there. Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture of her outfit today, because we were running late and by the time we returned home she was throwing a fit of epic proportions. Rest assured, it was a super cute smocked little outfit from Janie and Jack, a gift from our Auntie Judy in Milwaukee.
So! Without further ado, here is my outfit:
Dress: White House Black Market (put on your shocked face) Shoes: Nine West Necklace: Birthday gift from my parents |
Marisa, I love that dress! I, too, am a huge fan of White House Black Market :). It's my go-to store for cute work clothes :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie!! I LOVE their clothes. I was just telling a friend of mine that they're cute and trendy, but still age appropriate. I'm a 31-year old wife and mama; I appreciate finding a store that carries stylish clothes that don't make me feel like I'm trying to dress like a 16-year old. :)
DeleteThat dress is awesome and so flattering on you! Dresses that can work for multiple occasions rock. So glad you are feeling so much better!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jen! :)
DeleteSuper cute dress. I love the "Jackie-O" look!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Me too! I just think she was the epitome of style and class. :)
DeleteOh I like this dress, especially the asymmetrical neck line.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love the neckline as well. Only problem is it's not very convenient for nursing. Oh well, can't win 'em all!
DeleteThat is such a versatile dress! Perfect for August.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love wearing white dresses in the summer. I'm sure it's just my imagine in this brutal Louisiana heat, but I always feel *slightly* cooler in a white cotton dress. :)
DeleteLove that dress!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary!
DeleteVery nice...I really like the asymmetrical neckline. Very mod.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary! :)
