If the kids are flipping out and need a chance to run around and blow off some steam, I pull into a rest area and they can be hooligans for a little while. :) We're not on a schedule, so to speak, so it doesn't matter how long the trip takes. The last time we brought our kids on a plane, Alessandra screamed for a good portion of the flight to Dallas. I felt awful for the other passengers, even though Will and I were trying absolutely everything to settle her.Marisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00977382355749851597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6950588185428187665.post-26186716045503857152014-05-30T18:21:51.375-05:002014-05-30T18:21:51.375-05:00Reunions always give this mix emotions. But on general, it would be fun.

mycaaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07027584458666843124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6950588185428187665.post-27214851976993583632014-05-30T17:45:11.763-05:002014-05-30T17:45:11.763-05:00I think driving is the better choice. There's ...I think driving is the better choice. There's too much waiting around at the airport and you have to follow their schedule, not the kids'.LeAnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06819892298426120448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6950588185428187665.post-36363680091705644242014-05-30T12:03:31.655-05:002014-05-30T12:03:31.655-05:00awww I'm sorry hon!! Miss Alessandra, on the other hand...well, we all know what happened there! ;) Seriously, though, it does get better. Even if the stretches are slightly longer than normal at night, you'll feel a little more human the next day. And yes, I totally understand! Hang in there, mama!Marisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00977382355749851597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6950588185428187665.post-13912229762700587872014-05-30T12:02:15.145-05:002014-05-30T12:02:15.145-05:00Good call with the vinegar! We are going to drive 14 hours with the babe and two dogs so I will join you in the crazy! ;) I've heard of the cash envelope thing. I like how you only did it for groceries. I think that would work well for us! I'm gonna try that. Meal planning has gone down the drain since Will got home! Random comment. Oh well. Sleep deprivation. You understand!Theresa Breslinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05880852012326491741noreply@blogger.com
